What word would define this persons actions?

I have always overheard my mom telling her friends “I don’t let my son get a job because he will start to like the money he is making and won’t finish school.” But then she tells me “Why don’t you go get a job”, or in a sarcastic way tells other people “Oh he’s tired because he got up for work early today.” Then I think “WTF do you want from me!”
So what word would define my mother? I have called her a hypocrite, but i don’t think that word would describe her. And what should i do or say?
