What is a word who’s definition is, in grammar, writing the actual definition of the word?
Like when someone is typing up a research paper or a speech and to make it seem longer, or to make them selves seem self important; they use a lot of “big” words and then after the word they just write the definition of the word?
What is that called?

Verbose: wordy, using or containing too many words.
Synonymous: (of words) meaning the same or nearly the same ( like, two words that can be interchanged in a context are said to be synonymous relative to that context)
