I`m not dissing Thom or something but I really think that his voice really the power/punch he had back in 90`s.
and also, I don`t understand why is he almost always singing in thin falsetto and kinda nasal voice? i don`t know maybe that`s beauty for someone but… … …
I agree, the transitional part of the song in 2:42 was a total fail, the lighting effects far outproportioned the actual quality of performance on that part of the song lol … and Jonny’s guitar should’ve been much louder in the mix. Also, am I the only one getting totally dizzy by watching Thom’s head move around like that all the time?

Alternative rock for sure, but I meant pop to mean contemporary or popular. Not as traditionally used when referrring to pop as a musical style, like rap or hip-hop or whatever. Just “popular” meaning contemporary. Although, they are no longer contemporary either since they’ve been around a long while. Whatever….

He does some odd things in this performance. Like when he’s singing the lines in the verses.
Bit wobbly at times too. Wouldn’t say bad though.
