How do you know if you beleive in romanticism or something else? Explain?

i have a paper in school. i have to write on whether or not i am/am not one for romanticism. in the literary sense. I dont know how i would know if im a romantic in that sense or something else, plus i dont know what else i could be and i dont know how to say i am a romantic or not without even knowing the rest. Can someone help me out please!! any information would be appreciated.
