Bill Clinton, while being questioned about Monica Lewinsky, brilliantly sends the questioning in a new direction. To determine the meaning of the word “is”. Here’s what Bill Clinton said to the grand jury about why he wasn’t lying when he said to his top aides that with respect to Monica Lewinsky, “there’s nothing going on between us.” How can this be? Here’s what Clinton told the grand jury (according to footnote 1128 in Starr’s report): “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. If the–if he–if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not–that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement….Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true.”

What’s a paradigm? Speak grade school English please! Some of us (like Clinton) are still working on the word “is”. Maybe with your experience in english you could help out here friend! But it turned out the answer to if he lied under oath didn’t depend on what the meaning of the word is is. The stained dress answered that question and he was found guilty. What a waste of tax dollars to cover up the lie. Maybe he should of handled it the way Dave Letterman did when he got caught. “yes I did”.

That’s right, there was jobs with Clinton! There was jobs when Bush was president too! Don’t forget most of the time Clinton was president he was stuck with a republican controlled congress keeping him from doing very thing he wanted. I think business liked that environment. A Balance of Power. Obama needs to convince small business that he cares about them if he wants to to join Clinton and Bush as Job creating presidents. So far I’ve heard very little that would encourage small business.
